Midjourney plans and prices
Prices below are per month, as listed on the pricing page on November 5, 2026. Yearly billing saves 20%.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Yearly billing | Fast GPU hours | Relax mode | Stealth mode | Concurrent image / video jobs |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $10 | $8 | Limited, about 200 image jobs a month | No | No | 3 / 1 |
| Standard | $30 | $24 | 15 | Images | No | 3 / 3 |
| Pro | $60 | $48 | 30 | Images and SD video | Yes | 12 / 6 |
| Mega | $120 | $96 | 60 | Images and SD video | Yes | 12 / 12 |
Basic is listed with about 200 image jobs a month, four images per job, and standard-definition (SD) video only. Standard and above include SD and HD video. All plans include general commercial terms, optional Fast hour top-ups and the Editor for uploaded images. Stealth mode, which keeps your work out of the public gallery, is limited to Pro and Mega.
How Fast GPU time is counted
Midjourney bills generations against GPU time. The pricing page says a typical image prompt uses about one minute of Fast time, and a video prompt uses about eight minutes. That makes 15 Fast hours on Standard roughly 900 image prompts, or about 110 video prompts, by that rule of thumb. Real use varies with the settings you pick. The page says three GPU speeds exist: Relax, Fast and Turbo, but it gives no details on Turbo.
Fast time resets at renewal. Unused Fast time does not carry over to the next month. Top-up time you buy expires after 60 days if unused and can't be refunded, and earned time expires after 30 days. The page does not list the price of a top-up hour.
What Relax mode gives you
Relax jobs wait in a queue instead of using Fast hours. The page gives an average wait of 0 to 10 minutes. Relax mode for images comes with Standard, Pro and Mega. Unlimited Relax video is only on Pro and Mega. Basic has no Relax mode, so when its Fast time runs out, you either buy a top-up or wait for the next cycle.
That is the practical split between plans. Basic suits someone who makes a few dozen images a month. Standard is the first plan where you can keep making images after the Fast hours are gone. Pro and Mega matter if you make video, want Stealth mode, or run many jobs in parallel.
Changing or cancelling a plan
Upgrades take effect immediately, with a discount for unused Fast time. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal. You can cancel from your Account page, and the cancellation applies at the end of the current billing cycle. Cancelling does not delete your generated images or account history.
Midjourney pricing against other image tools
