Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash is free in one place and paid almost everywhere else. As of November 5, 2026, Google says 15-second clips in Google Vids cost nothing extra with a Google account or a Workspace subscription. The Gemini API has no free tier for it, and the Gemini app is rolling it out first to Google AI Ultra subscribers.

Google released the model on November 5. Our news coverage of the release is at Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash video 30 percent cheaper. This page covers only what it costs and who gets it.

Is Gemini Omni free?

It depends on where you use it. All of this is as of November 5, 2026.

Where Free? What Google says
Google Vids Yes 15-second clips at "no additional cost" with a Google account or a Workspace subscription
Gemini app Not yet 15-second videos are rolling out to Google AI Ultra subscribers
Flow With a paid plan The subscriptions page lists Gemini Omni Flash in Flow for AI Plus, AI Pro and AI Ultra
Gemini API No The pricing page shows "Not available" for the free tier
Google Cloud console No Paid, billed per second of video

Google's pages do not say whether the Free consumer plan includes Gemini Omni. The subscriptions page names only the three paid plans for Flow, so treat Free as not included until Google says otherwise.

Which Gemini plans include Gemini Omni?

Google's subscriptions page lists these US prices as of November 5, 2026.

Plan Price per month Flow credits Video on the plan page
Free $0 Limited Nano Banana Pro access Not listed
AI Plus $4.99 200 Video generation; Gemini Omni Flash in Flow
AI Pro $19.99 1,000 Gemini Omni Flash in Flow; a limited trial of Veo 3.1 Lite
AI Ultra From $99.99 ($199.99 tier also listed) 10,000 or 25,000 Gemini Omni Flash in Flow; video generation with Veo 3.1

The 15-second Omni videos in the Gemini app itself are an Ultra rollout for now, according to the launch post. So AI Plus and AI Pro get the model in Flow, and the app is Ultra first. If you are asking whether Gemini Pro includes it: in Flow, yes, according to the subscriptions page.

What are the limits?

Google gives no number of videos per day or month for any plan. What it does publish:

  • Flow credits per month: 200 on AI Plus, 1,000 on AI Pro, 10,000 or 25,000 on AI Ultra. The page does not say how many credits one Omni clip costs.
  • Gemini app usage limits are based on compute. They refresh every 5 hours until you reach a weekly limit, and you can extend them by buying AI credits.
  • Clip length is 3 to 15 seconds, in one-second steps. Motion reference clips can be up to three seconds.
  • Audio references are gated behind allowlisting on Google Cloud.
  • Outputs carry a SynthID watermark, Google's invisible mark for AI-made media.

How much Gemini Omni costs in the API

The Gemini API pricing page charges for video output at $12.00 per 1 million video tokens in the Standard tier. As of November 5, 2026 it converts that to an effective price per second:

Resolution Price per second Tokens per second
360p $0.023 1,931
720p about $0.07 5,792
1080p (upsampled) $0.104 8,688
4K (upsampled) $0.209 17,376

At 720p that works out to about $0.70 for a 10-second clip and $1.04 for a 15-second clip, per Google. Google says the 720p price is 30% below Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash. The pricing page lists no batch price for this model. Provisioned Throughput, a reserved-capacity option for businesses, is available. The Google Cloud announcement links the full Model Garden pricing.

Third-party price lists may show different per-token numbers. Use Google's pricing page for billing.

How to use Gemini Omni

  • Google Vids: open vids.new with a Google account or Workspace subscription. This is the free route.
  • Flow: use it on AI Plus, AI Pro or AI Ultra.
  • Gemini app: Ultra subscribers first, as the rollout reaches them.
  • API: build in Google AI Studio, which lists "no cost to start" for developer access in general, but not for this model. Calls are billed at the rates above. The Cloud console model ID appears as gemini-omni-1.2-flash in its URL, though the page does not state it as the ID.

Google's suggested workflow is to draft at 360p or 720p, fix details with follow-up edits, then upscale to 1080p or 4K. Drafting cheap saves money: a 360p draft costs about a third of 720p per second.

What we do not know yet

  • Whether the Free consumer plan will ever include Omni.
  • How many Flow credits one clip uses.
  • Per-day video caps on any plan.
  • The date for Gemini for business. Google says it is coming soon.

Google's own pages disagree on the announcement date: the blog post is dated November 5, while the Cloud post says November 6. We use November 5. We will update this page when Google publishes plan limits.
