Gemini AI Plus price is $4.99 a month: what you get

Google AI Plus, the cheapest paid Gemini plan, costs $4.99 a month in the US, according to Google's Gemini subscriptions page, read on November 4, 2026. That is $15 less than Google AI Pro at $19.99, and it comes with 400 GB of storage and roughly twice the usage limits of the free plan.

Gemini now has four tiers: Free, AI Plus, AI Pro and AI Ultra. Plus sits just above free, so it is the plan to look at if you hit the free limits but don't need the heavier models or large storage.

Gemini AI Plus price

All prices below are in US dollars, as shown on Google's page on November 4, 2026. The page lists only the US region, so prices elsewhere may differ.

Billing is monthly and you can cancel at any time. Google says it gives no refunds for a partial billing period, except where the law requires one. The page doesn't describe a free trial.

What AI Plus includes

Google lists these for AI Plus:

• Access to the Flash model, which includes Gemini 4 Argon.
• Usage limits about twice those of the free plan.
• Video generation and Daily Brief in the Gemini app.
• 200 credits in Google Flow, Google's creative tool, with access to Gemini Omni Flash and custom tool creation.
• More access to Nano Banana, the image model, in Google Search.
• More Audio Overviews and notebooks in Gemini Notebook.
• Gemini in Gmail, Vids and other Google apps.
• 400 GB of storage shared across Gmail, Drive and Photos.

The free plan already covers image generation and editing, Deep Research, Gemini Live, Canvas and Gems, according to the same page. So Plus is mostly more of the same, plus video generation and more storage.

Google says limits depend on prompt complexity, the features you use and chat length. They refresh every 5 hours until a weekly limit is reached, and you can extend them by buying AI credits. The page gives no fixed message counts, only the multiples of the free plan.

What AI Plus leaves out

The jump to AI Pro at $19.99 adds things Plus doesn't have, per Google's page:

• The Pro model, and a 1 million token context window in the Gemini app.
• 1,000 Flow credits instead of 200.
• Gemini in Chrome with auto browse, Google Home Premium (Standard plan) and YouTube Premium Lite.
• Entry-level rate limits in Google Antigravity, Google's coding tool.
• 5 TB of storage instead of 400 GB.

AI Ultra starts at $99.99 a month with 5 times the usage limits of Pro. A $199.99 tier raises that to 20 times. Ultra also adds YouTube Premium and Project Genie. Where AI Plus is available

Google's page is inconsistent here. The AI Plus section says 160 or more countries and territories, while the footnote for all plans says 140 or more. The page doesn't say which is right. Some benefits are for users 18 and older, and some features, including Gemini 4 Argon, are available only in select countries.

What to check before you pay
