Key takeaways

  • Meta launched Spaces in the Muse app on November 6, 2026, in every place Muse is available.
  • You describe an idea and Muse builds a custom experience you can keep, edit and schedule.
  • Meta's post gives no price, no country list and no date for sharing spaces with others.

Meta added Spaces to its Muse app on November 6. A space is a small custom app you build inside Muse by describing it, and Meta says it is available everywhere Muse is, starting today.

Until now Muse answered questions and made things in a chat. Spaces turn a request into something that stays: a tracker, a dashboard or a planner that you can open again later, instead of scrolling back through a conversation. It follows the voice and avatar update Meta shipped on November 5.

How Spaces work

You describe what you want, and Muse builds it. Meta's own definition is "a custom experience you create inside Muse by describing your idea." You can then ask Muse to add a missing feature, change the look or adjust how the space behaves.

Spaces can live in the sidebar or the main tabs, and you can hide the ones you don't need. You can also schedule them. Meta's example is a weekly planner that shows on weekdays and switches to weekend plans on Saturday.

When you connect your apps, a space can update itself in the background with things like concert dates or price changes. You can also check off items, add notes and edit inside the space.

What Meta says you can build

Meta's examples cover a range of everyday jobs:

  • A shopping hub for gift ideas, wishlists and marketplace messages
  • A school dashboard that adds events from emails to your calendar
  • A wedding planner for RSVPs, vendor invoices and to-dos
  • A freelance client hub for projects, deadlines and invoices
  • A trip planner with flights, reservations and an itinerary
  • A trivia game based on your interests

What we don't know yet

Meta's post names no countries or platforms beyond "everywhere Muse is available", and it says nothing about price. Muse's plans are covered in our page on whether Meta Muse is free.

Meta says it is exploring ways to share spaces with other people, which would turn them from personal tools into something collaborative. It also says it is rolling out specialized versions of its models to Muse, based on what it learned from Muse Wonder. Neither has a date.
