Claude Enterprise pricing, as of October 28, 2026, is $20 per seat per month billed annually, plus usage charged at API rates, with a 20-seat minimum, according to Anthropic's pricing page. You can buy it self-serve or through sales. The page gives no all-in price per user, because the usage part depends on which models your people use and what they ask them to do.
Prices on that page exclude tax and can change at Anthropic's discretion. Everything below is what the page and Anthropic's help center show on October 28.
How much Claude Enterprise costs
Enterprise has two parts. The seat is $20 a month, billed annually. Usage is billed on top at API rates, meaning the per-token prices developers pay. The page says the cost "scales with model and task." A team that mostly chats on a small model will pay less per person than one running long agent jobs on the largest model.
Enterprise is annual only. The self-serve route takes a credit card or ACH. The sales-assisted route, through the "Contact sales" button, adds invoicing and net terms, AWS Marketplace purchase, trials and customer success support at certain spend levels. Anthropic did not publish a price for the sales-assisted route, so a quote may differ from the self-serve numbers.
Claude Enterprise vs Team: prices and differences
| Plan | Price (as of October 28, 2026) | Seats |
|---|---|---|
| Team Standard | $20 per seat per month billed annually, $25 monthly | 2 to 150 |
| Team Premium | $100 per seat per month billed annually, $125 monthly | 2 to 150 |
| Enterprise | $20 per seat per month billed annually, plus usage at API rates | 20 minimum |
The seat price of Enterprise matches Team Standard. The difference is what the seat includes and how usage is billed. Team seats include a usage allowance, with Premium seats getting five times the usage of Standard, and Team can include up to $500 a month in pooled API credits. Team takes credit cards only, with no ACH or invoicing.
What Team leaves out and Enterprise adds, per the pricing page:
- Admin spend limits for users and for the organization
- Fine-grained role-based access control
- SCIM provisioning, audit logs and the Compliance API
- Custom data retention
- Network-level access control and IP allowlisting
- A HIPAA-ready offering
- Claude Security, in beta
Both plans include SSO, central billing, Claude Code and Cowork, and no model training on your data by default. For the consumer plans, see our guide to whether Claude is free.
Is Claude Enterprise HIPAA compliant?
Claude Enterprise can be set up for HIPAA, but it is not on by default, and no other plan can do it. Anthropic's help center says the HIPAA-ready offering is available on Enterprise plans, self-serve and sales-assisted, and not on Team, Free, Pro or Max.
Only the organization's Primary Owner can turn it on, under Organization settings, Data and privacy, HIPAA Compliance. The Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is click-to-accept and cannot be modified. Anthropic lists several limits:
- Turning it on resets some organization settings to defaults and cannot be undone from settings.
- Not every feature is covered. The Implementation Guide on Anthropic's Trust Center lists which features are covered, available but not covered, or disabled. PHI should not go through anything that is not covered.
- Claude Code and Cowork in local mode need a separate configuration, offered only to organizations with an Anthropic account team. Until then Cowork is not covered, and Claude Code is covered only with zero data retention on qualified accounts.
- A BAA signed before December 2, 2025 for API use does not cover the Enterprise plan. Those customers need a new one.
New Claude Enterprise spend and ROI tools
On October 28, Anthropic announced smart reports, in-app surveys and pooled group budgets for Claude Enterprise. The company lists all three as generally available. TechCrunch covered the launch the same day. Anthropic gave no separate price for them.
- Smart reports show what a team got done with Claude and what it cost. An admin picks a team, dates and products. Claude reads a sample of the team's transcripts, groups the work into workstreams and shows spend, deliverables and friction such as a missing connector or a failed tool call. Each report ends with suggestions, like workflows worth turning into skills. Anthropic says reports are not meant for judging individual performance.
- In-app surveys ask staff how Claude helps, including time saved and what would break if access were lost. Admins can edit the questions and export responses to a spreadsheet.
- Pooled group budgets give a group one shared monthly budget. Individual limits still apply, and a person stops at whichever runs out first. Billing admins get email alerts at 50%, 75%, 95% and 100% of the budget.
The pooled budgets fit how Enterprise is billed. Since usage is charged at API rates, a budget cap is the main way to keep a bill predictable. Anthropic has also said Claude Enterprise pricing stays usage-based, and that newer models cost less to run: Opus 5.5 at 40% less than Opus 5 on typical workloads. We covered the model's prices in Claude Opus 5.5 pricing. Government buyers have a separate deal, covered in Anthropic's 40% GSA discount.
One caution. Smart reports estimate value from a sample of transcripts, and surveys measure what people say. Both are Anthropic's own measures of its own product, so a finance team will still want its own numbers.
What Anthropic does not say
The pricing page does not give a per-user monthly estimate for usage, a volume discount table or a price for the sales-assisted route. Anyone budgeting for Enterprise has to estimate token use themselves or ask Anthropic for a quote.
Frequently asked questions
Is Claude Enterprise contact sales only?
No. Anthropic's pricing page lists a self-serve Enterprise option with annual billing by card or ACH, and a sales-assisted route that adds invoicing, net terms and AWS Marketplace purchase.
What is the difference between Claude Enterprise and Team?
